Suspend the pot over a fire with the use of a tripod or set it right in the hot coals after the fire has gone out. Three legs on the base enable you to set the pot down on an even surface without scorching it. A special ultrahigh temperature curing process at the foundry gives these ovens a black patina finish. Invert the lids for use as makeshift griddles. Pre-seasoned and ready to use.
